1	Function	Support of those elements of the machine located above CCM (ground) level. (The steel structure will be independent of any main building structure).

3	Design / Construction	Pre-fabricated steel construction consisting of columns + beams, made from rolled steel sections. Casting Platform : 18 x 7.0 m ( Depend on ccm size) Height : 6.5 m ( Depend on ccm size) General floor loading : 1 M.T/m Casting area with floor plates suitable for covering with refractory bricks.= Intermediate platform with floor of gratings general floor loading 500 Kg/sq. m. Ladel stand and ladle operator’s platform of fabricated steel construction. Support for the emergency ladle at the rear of the machine. Rails for the tundish transfer car between parking position and casting position with end of track emergency stops. Cover plates for oscilloscope arm bearings and mould assemblies. Stairways, handrails and floor plates for Oscillation arm bearings and mould assemblies.
