SPECIFICATION FOR RUBBER MATS FOR ELECTRICAL PURPOSE
(Bureau if Indian Standard : 5424 - 1969)
The Electrical Resistance Rubber Mats are used as a floor covering, around electrical apparatus, whose voltage rating is 3000 volts. It is not intended to imply that rubber mats should afford the sole means of protection for those working on electrical circuits. Wherever possible, further adequate precautions should be taken against the risk of shock and short circuit.
