Housed in robust phenolic moulding with integrally moulded barriers,it offers ample protection against flash-over between terminals.The voltage terminals,grouped separately have protective phenolic shroud.The three groups of current terminals,each consisting of three terminals have interconnecting links to inject current from portable test set to short circuit current transformer secondaries.Detachable punch blanking strip is provided on both ends of terminals.During normal operation,these blanking strips are positioned to form part of the cover.It is reversed during testing,to facilitate entry of cabled and positioning of top cover.These TTBs are available for front and back connection.

The test block and the cover are made of black Bakelite moulding. The moulded barriers are provided in base between adjacent terminals to give complete protection against flash over. The cover is secured in place by knurled sealing nuts. All terminals, shorting links, screws are of brass and nickel plated to prevent corrosion.
