The Refair's 11-12 Kv Disconnector is a Three-phase, hookstick-operated disconnector used to sectionalize or isolate circuits on electrical distribution systems . The distribution switch can be mounted on a single or double crossarm and is rated for 600 or 900 A continuous current and 65 kA peak withstand current (40 kA momentary). It is designed for Medium Voltage Outdoor Distribution systems Operation .

Disconnectors and earthing switches are used to protect personnel while working on operational equipment and must therefore be very reliable and operationally safe – even under adverse climatic conditions. Disconnectors and earthing switches are offered as a combination of both.
