Deioniser Plant
Water Deioniser Plant
The water free from any mineral is called Deionised Water (D.M.Water). Naturally occurring water has various salts in dilute form which are called dissolved solids. When the water havingsuch mineral is required to be free from this, it is to be treated in Ion Exchange Resins column (H form) which converts all ionized salts to the equivalent acids. Now the acidic water is passed through Anion Resin Column (OH form) Which absorbs acids and water thus available is Demineralised Water.
When the resins are exhausted the cationresin column is regenerated with HCL and Anion resin column is regenerated with NaOH solution. After regeneration now the plant will be in a position to give D.M. Water up to next regeneration.
Portable Water Deionisers
Cation-Anion columns (Two Bed) are available in ALW-100, ALW-200, ALW-600 in 3 standard Models capable of producing up to 600 ltrs /hr D.M. Water.
Mixed Bed Unit :
Mixed bed demineraliser plant embodies a single column of Cation and Anion resin material mixed intimately together. Water passing through the column comes repeatedly in contact with these resins and is thus is effect subjected to an almost infinite number of demineralising stages. Demineralised water of extreme purity is produced-purity that can not be equaled by any other commercial method. Mixed bed demineralizers are regenerated with acid and alkali but the ion exchange resins must be separated and superimposed layers are thus formed into which the acid and alkali solutions and rinse water are introduced through specially designed spreaders. After regeneration the two resins are remixed with compressed air.
