GPS, GSM, GPRS, RFID, Webcams and hardware technologies work together to continuously send safety data to NorthStar’s integrated 24x7 servers. School Buses are installed with these best-of-breed “black boxes” that are used to monitor data about the bus and its children.

The integrated, central 24x7 server provides real time monitoring and tracking of the school buses and children. Sophisticated self-learning algorithms compile the data, calculate accurate ETA’s for each stop, and send out SMS alerts / voice callout to the parents, school authorities and fleet owners.

Additionally, NorthStar is India’s first school bus and child safety product that has a manned, live Command Center (Control Room), where trained safety engineers constantly monitor and track the location, safety and performance of school buses, their drivers and children. As soon as an untoward incident is detected, school authorities, police and hospitals are alerted by phone and SMS.
