Centraliser® (Dial Indicating Centering Device):

Developed specifically to resolve precise centering problems, the Centraliser is a universal centering device that can be used on any machine such as your milling machine, jig boring, machining centers, etc.
This device is highly precise, easy to operate & ready to use on any machine due to interchangeable shanks.
The Centraliser gives reliable adjustments with guaranteed accuracies and can be used in a variety of applications such as:

i Aligning main spindle axis with the central axis of bores, pins, shafts, etc
ii Positioning the main spindle axis over the edge of the work piece
iii Setting the machined surface perpendicular to the main spindle
iv Geometrical testing of machine tool

Centraliser is available in three models
• Standard Model - Accuracy 0.01 mm
• High Accuracy Model - Accuracy 0.002 mm
• Economy Model - Accuracy 0.01 mm

FEATURES

Ease of use The Centraliser is a very user friendly device. You simply clamp the device to the main spindle, position the probe on the job & run the spindle at 100 RPM. Setting up the Centraliser takes only a matter of seconds.

Rugged Construction The Centraliser has been designed to withstand the harsh conditions on a shop floor. The dial indicator is housed in a transparent acrylic case to prevent any damage from coolants & from accidental impact. Body of the Centarliser is manufactured from Aluminum Alloy and is hard anodised & powder coated. All components are designed to survive a fall and to continue functioning normally even after impact.

Non Parallax & Ergonomic Design Human Error due to parallax is kept at a minimum in the Centraliser by making sure that the dial indicator is always stationary & facing the operator.

Modular Design The Centraliser has a modular design to increase the flexibility of the device. The Centraliser consists of three parts - Shank, Main Body with dial indicator & Probe. By changing the shank, the device can be used on a variety of machines. Also by changing the probe the range of application can be increased.

Packaging All models are supplied with a set of tools for changing probes & shanks and a wooden box for transportation & storage.
