GLAD Attachment

• This is a flange mounted sample assembly for glancing angle deposition.
• The sample can rotate in its own axis as well as revolve around a vertical axis passing through the sample center (both axes being perpendicular to each other).
• The model shown has manual tilt (revolve around vertical axis) but can be automated if required.
• The rotation is by Stepper motor (programmable).
• The programmable controller is also shown.
• The sample can also radiatively heated upto 300 to 400C using the inbuilt heater.

Note: this attachment can be designed for full automaton of tilt and rotation. All rotary feedthroughs are magnetic coupled for trouble free operations in vacuum.
