Assistant Manager (m/f) Business Development, Geissel India

We are a Pune based German MNC manufacturing cable glands and accessories. We launched our products in the Indian market in 2008 already and would like to intensify our efforts to expand our customer base.
We have already generated many potential contacts and customers. We have also set-up our distribution network in major industrial towns.
We are looking for a smart and dynamic engineer to be a part of our marketing and sales team, to take these efforts forward.
Core Job Responsibilities:

Generating enquiries using…
- Contacting prospects from the already generated database by emails, phone, visits etc.
- Participating in trade exhibitions
- Other promotional activities like advertisement, web promotion etc.
Preparing offers, doing follow-up and negotiations for orders.

Coordinating with the plant for timely execution of orders. Payment follow-up
Your Profile:
The desired candidate should be a graduate / diploma holder in mechanical / electrical engineering with minimum 4-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in electrical industry.
An additional degree in marketing or/ and would be preferred.
The candidate should be a go-getter and willing to travel all across India.
The candidate should be fluent in English, with good verbal and written communication skills.
He should be able to work on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
