A Company in the name and style of "Grip Tight Shrink Films Pvt ltd." (formerly know as S.B. Industries) is located in Central India. It is 15 km away from Railway Station and 10 km from Airport. The area is called as MIDC, i.e. Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation. The Company having a Plot area of 3000 sq. metre and constructed area around 2300 sq. metre, centrally air-cooled plant having modern technology and machineries to manufacture flexible packaging items. Fastest mode of transportation by road, air and rail is possible from this location to meet customers scheduled requirements and also emergencies.
The Company was started in the year 1999 with an installed capacity to produce 650 M.T. High quality PVC Shrink film per annum. During this period Shrink Film and Multi Colour Printed Shrink Sleeves were totally new item for customers and they were not fully aware about its proper application also. Hence we took lot of efforts to establish this product to Indian market.
In the modern age, the products need good packing with printing is essential to brand building. So the products packing are always designed in such way to attract customers' attention. A good designed Pouch / Label with good printing will help the manufacturer to differentiate their product and brand from others.
The Company in its first stage, provided lot of training, demonstration and practical classes to customers to create awareness of shrink sleeves, its application on their products. This is one of the revolutionary product since the packing method has been improved day by day and the packaging field is became innovative to make the products more attractive and better consumer appeal for marketing infiltration.
As a second step to establish our product in the market, company have selected several products and approached its manufacturer to apply shrink sleeve on trial basis. Some of them were agreed with our proposal and accepted our product subject to our full technical support and product's guarantee. Definitely our good designed shrink sleeve with multi colour printing the product could gain consumer appeal.
The product being manufactured with latest and sophisticated imported plant and machineries along with all technology. The plant is capable of producing tailor made products to meet customer's specific requirements.

» Capacity and Commitment

We, Grip Tight Shrink Films Pvt Ltd, to ensure high quality product, the complete plant with post extrusion machine of latest technology have been imported along with product's technology. The plant is capable to produce the heat shrinkable tubes from 60 mm to 800 mm width with lengthwise shrinkage from 0 to 20 % and widthwise shrinkage of 20 to 58 %. Thickness range is 25 to 150 micron depending on the customer's requirement. We have three latest Rotogravure printing machine and finest printing is possible upto 10colour.
The plant was commissioned in June ' 1999 and its commercial production started from July ' 99. Within this period, we could achieve the confidence of multi-national Companies like Jyothi Laboratories, Paras Group, R.S.D. Group, Sterling Agro, Heritage India and so many reputed companies like Emami Ltd.,Vicco Group,BaidyanathAyurved, Dabur India Ltd., and Bajaj Crop Ltd., Ankur Seeds , Yashoda Seeds etc.
We have the 100 % in house facility to produce PVC Shrink film, right from formulation, compounding, film manufacturing, colour matching, printing and various post extrusion. Most of the printing is done by imported rotogravure cylinders.

Imported Cast PVC, OPS and PET G (shrink film) also using for most of the critical jobs in 08 colours with high density metallic finish to enhance the beauty and most attractive sleeves for various products. We have very good tie-up with abroad vendor for supply of shrink film and other connected raw materials.

Considering the continuous request of our customers, we have started an additional flexible packaging division, i.e laminated pouches and rolls made of high quality and high barrier property material like LDPE, ( 3 layer and 5 layer film) BOPP, Pet, Met Pet and Metallised Heat sealible BOPP suitable for packing Coffee Powder, Agarbathi, Tea Powder, Salt, Oil, Ghee, Milk powder, Seeds, Chips etc.- an Environment Friendly Product.

We have a state of art fully equipped individual plant to produce high barrier film manufacturing unit. Here 3 layer co-extruded film and 5 layer nylon base film being produced for different applications like Oil, Ghee, food items, chemical and pharmaceutical packaging.

Our installed capacity to produce PVC Shrink Film, Sleeve is 650 M. T. per annum and present utility is around 500 M. T per annum. As regards labels, our capacity per month is 1.25 Crore plain sleeve / shape cutting sealing sleeves around 0.65 Crore per month. Presently we have spare capacity to produce around 0.50 Crores labels and 0.40 Crores plain as well as shape cutting sealing sleeves per month, which can expand if required.

Regarding laminated rolls and pouches, our installed capacity is 400 M.T per annum. Present utility is around 200 M.T per annum. We have the total capacity to supply laminated pouches (with or without gazzeting, 'D' Cut, 2 sides / 3 sides sealing) around 4.5 Crores pieces per annum and present consumption is around 2.7 Crore per annum

The Grip Tight Shrink Films Pvt Ltd is promoted by the Director namely Mr. Arun Amidwar, M. Sc. The Director has a sustained and vast experience in the field of Plastic and its formulation, conversion in poly bag, polyethylene film, P.P. Strapping, H.M.H.D.P.E carry bags shopping bags, with Flexo and rotogravure printing since last three decades.

The Well experience of Mr. Arun Amidwar forced to study the total application of flexible packaging items, particularly the revolutionary product like PVC shrink film and various products converted from shrink film.

After a long thorough study about market and its potential, they have arrived in a good decision to arrange tie-up with Taiwan, Singapore and Germany base companies, those who can provide better technology, machine, film, printing cylinders and ink.

As a result, in 1999 Grip Tight Shrink Films Pvt Ltd(formarly know as S.B. Industries) was promoted to produce high quality PVC Heat Shrink Films, Sleeves and Multi Colour reverse printed sleeves, one of the revolutionary products. These products have wide-ranging applications in the fields such as cosmetics, beverages, food, pharmaceuticals, toys, pesticides and general packaging etc.

M/s. S.V.Ramanna& Co., a well-experienced chartered Accountant having more than 25 years experience is handling Finance Department cum Auditing with the advice of C.M.D.
Behind this, a strong experience technical group like Sr. Plant Manager, Manager - Extruder Plant, Manager - Printing, Manager - Post printing Operation, Shift incharge, Supervisors etc. are handling the production field.

» Storage Instruction

PVC Heat Shrink Tubes, Films and Printed Sleeves are heat sensitive. It should be kept in its original packing at room temperature below 300 C, avoiding exposure to heat and direct sunlight. Layflat quality may deteriorate after long storage depend on film type, roll length and storage condition. Use the material within a period of 60 days from the date dispatch of material.
