The company was started by Mr. Shekhar Kulkarni. He is an IIT Bombay alumnus. He started company with the aim to produce low cost import substitute products with excellent quality and service. He is an active member of various social organizations such IIT Alumni Association, Indian society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers, etc.

He has been honoured with the life time achievement award by ISHRAE, Pune Chapter for contribution towards growth of refrigeration & air conditioning industry in the past 30 years in India.
