Any of various highly refined, colorless hydrocarbon oils of low volatility and a wide range of viscosities; used for lubrication of food and textile machinery and as medicinal and mineral oils. Also known as technical white oil.
Application:
These oils are especially used in medicine and in pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations.
Description:
Oil Base Shuttering Oil and Water Base Shuttering Oil are specially formulated mold release agent and shuttering oil made from blend of mineral oils and eco-friendly high viscosity additives, which helps in easy release of form work and provides an excellent finish to the concrete. These oils are useful in mold release agent for application to MDF, ply, timber, steel and plastic faced framework/ molds prior to casting of concrete to achieve clear and smooth release. These oil is a ready to use product should be applied in thin and easy layer, preferably by cotton or brush.
Application:
Shuttering oil is widely used in hydraulics and construction industries.
Description:
This oil is a thermic fluid to cover a broad range of heat transfer applications. In actual practice the product is heated by means of a conventional source of energy, and circulated through a system which requires the heat. This indirect form of heating a system is widely used to achieve a better control and uniform distribution of heat.
Application:
They are used in all types of heat transfer application, the product finds extensive application in textile, pharmaceuticals, chemical and processing industries.
Description:
A very important segment of the metal working industry is metal forming, in this process the metal instead of being cut or machined, is forced to flow to acquire the desired dimensions by the use of the suitable mechanical equipment. Metal forming process includes operations like pressing, stamping, deep drawing, wire drawing, tube drawing and forging. During these operations considerable amount of heat and stress are developed. These lubricants are made to satisfy the various requirements included in metal drawing/forging operations.
Application:
The product has been specially developed for aluminum wire drawing applications. This product ensures nil wire breakage and scouring. This product is recommended for high speed drawing and can be used in the gear box of drawing equipment.
Also another grade of this product can be used for deep drawing of wires, tube drawing, forming, spinning and another similar medium to heavy duty operations of carbon steels and non ferrous metals.
Description:
A high-quality insulating oil in which windings of large power transformers are sometimes immersed to provide high dielectric strength, high insulation resistance, high flash point, freedom from moisture, and freedom from oxidization.
Application:
Transformer oil or insulating oil is usually a highly-refined mineral oil that is stable at high temperatures and has excellent electrical insulating properties. It is used in oil-filled transformers, some types of high voltage capacitors, fluorescent lamp ballasts, and some types of high voltage switches and circuit breakers. Its functions are to insulate, suppress corona and arcing, and to serve as a coolant.
Description:
These oils are Di-electric in nature, the oil is low in viscosity which in turn leads to flawless operation over a broad range of metal removal rates. Apart from this, the low viscosity of the oil provides uniform cooling of both electrode and work piece while allowing rapid settling of the metal particles.
Application:
They are used for general purpose mould and dies work where good flushing, close tolerances and optimum rates of metal removal are important. Some of its salient features are:
• Maximum oxidation stability
• Low electrical conductivity
• Good heat transfer properties for proper quenching of melted metal
• Low volatility
Description:
Grade I:
They are light bodied, naphthenic type rubber process oil specially developed for the automotive tyre and tube manufacturing industries, as well as for general usage in various units producing rubber goods. It can be used for processing natural rubber as well as butyl rubber. Due to its non-staining nature is used with advantage in the production of white wall automotive tyre and light color rubber components.
Grade II:
They are medium bodied predominantly paraffinic type rubber process oil. This product is an excellent ingredient for the manufacture of various rubber products from both natural as well as Synthetic rubber. It is formulated from carefully selected highly refined, solvent extracted base stocks of low sulphur content.
It helps in achieving lower milling temperature, shorter milling time thus resulting in substantial savings in power consumption. It helps impart low heat buildup properties, and good air retention ability, and hence is mostly preferred by the automotive tube manufacturing units.
Application:
Grade I:
It is used as one of the essential components in the processing of rubber for the manufacture of automotive tyres, tubes and many other moulded rubber goods. The ease of processability of rubber compound and the tensile strength of the finished product are the two most important properties in a large number of rubber products. The dynamic properties like low heat build up and good rebound resilience are the additional properties, which improve the overall quality, in case of automotive tyres.
Grade II:
It is primarily used in the compounding of rubber for procession of automotive compound particularly where butyl rubber is used. The selection of a process oil for compounding of rubber, needs careful consideration as the type of oil used affects the final properties of goods manufactured. It improves the elongation strength and tear strength of the cured stocks. It also gives improved ageing properties to the finished rubber goods. It is widely used in compounding of shredded rubber and in the production of large number of light colored rubber articles
• Maximum oxidation stability
• Low electrical conductivity
• Good heat transfer properties for proper quenching of melted metal
• Low volatility
Description:
These are dewatering fluid, containing oil soluble surface-active agent dissolved in a solvent with suitable corrosion- preventive and film forming materials. It contains selected additives which impart excellent ability to wet metal surfaces in preference to water. It can be applied at room temperature by dip or spray method. The film formed over metal surfaces can be easily removed by dipping the parts in suitable solvent.
Application:
This oil provides effective protection against rust on to the work-pieces during short-term storage in between operations. When the work-piece is dipped in the oil the water adhering to the metal surface gets dislodged by a thin film of this product. After the application, the solvent evaporates, leaving a soft grease like protective film on the metal surface.
Description:
The term quenching normally refers to the controlled cooling of steel components in a fluid to give specified properties. The hardness and other physical properties obtained depend upon the composition of the steel, dimension of the component, the time and temperature of the heat treatment and the speed and duration of the quenching process.
A number of quenching mediums such as molten salts, brine solutions and synthetic quenchants can be used, but petroleum based quenching media find the widest application due to the following advantage:
Good Thermal properties, good chemical and oxidation stability, high boiling points and low volatility, high flash and fire points.
Application:
These oils are used for all normal quenching operations on a wide variety of steel to impart the desired hardness to components without distortion. The special compounding agent incorporated in these oils improves the wetting ability of the oil, so that it provides faster initial cooling for optimum hardness, where as the base oil ensures slow cooling in the final stage for stress relief and distortion free results.
These oils are normally used for hardening nuts, bolts, ball bearings and certain types of brake drums as well as many other components manufactured by automobile and light engineering industries. The oil is suitable for hardening of a variety of ball bearings, high speed steel tools, and other components in major industries
Description:
