At the existing workshop, REPL has the most modern facilities for equipment building, covering material handling upto 50T Single piece, plate bending upto 36mm, profile gas cutting, Plasma cutting, Welding rectifiers, TIG,MIG, Co2, Pipe bending, 350T Hydraulic Press with special purpose corrugation machine, Gas Fired Heat Treatment/ Stress Relieving Bogie Hearth furnace of 6M X 6M X 6M (50T) Temp 1000°C etc.

The existing workshop has the in-house and registered vendor’s backup of :

• Most modern fully computerized design office equipped with latest hardware & software.
• Most modern Iron & Steel Foundry capable of casting 8T single piece.
• Most modern Machine Shop & Tool Room equipped with Boring, Turning, Shaping, Plaining, Milling, Drilling Grinding etc.
• R&D & Chemical laboratory for metal & mineral testing.
• Quality control department with third party inspection & testing covering : Dimensional inspection, D.P. testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Radiography, Metallography, Pneumatic & Hydro Pressure Testing Electrical Testing, Pressure Testing etc.

REPL has a modern Project Department for undertaking Turnkey Projects and Refurbishment/modernization of old plant & machinery. The project department has dedicated team, tools & tackle for civil & structural construction, erection & commissioning of plant & machinery, services, Instrumentation & Pollution control & safety equipments.

Expansion Plans
REPL has an ongoing 400% expansion programme for enhancing the Equipment Building and Turnkey Projects.
Under the expansion programme, the workshop at new site shall have 75T single piece material handling facility, Plate Bending up to 65mm modern welding & profile cutting, Heat Treatment/Stress Relieving Furnace 6M X 10M X 6M (75T) Temp 1000°C, sand blasting, painting etc.
