√ RECIRCULATION OF SLURRY

Speedfam's abrasive feeding system keeps the abrasive & vehicle mixture in homogeneous condition all the time to ensure optimum usage of abrasive particle in cutting process, which helps in imparting an efficient and uniform stock removal over a period of time. This also helps to reduce consumable cost & the cycle time & hence more output as compared to non recirculation type system. The stirrer in the system provides continuously stirring during & in between two cycles. The tank is equipped with the casters for easy movement of system for disposal.

√ Polish Flat : For fine polishing of flat parts

The Speedfam polishing flat provides the fast, easy and effective way to achieve micro inch polish specifications.

It is designed for:
1. Obtaining the surface brightness needed for optical measurement of piece part.
2. Experimental polishing.
3. Short run production polishing.

Operation of the Speedfam polish flat is simple and positive. Pieces or parts are placed flat on the polishing surface & then rubed gently in a prescribed manner. The result is superfine polishing with no appreciable stock removed, no danger of having rounded edges. The polishing paper is fed through the spindle mounted roll and is rolled manually to as the new surface of the paper to appear. The polish flat is maintenance free.

√ Oil Reclaim System

This is unique product developed by speedfam in order to have contamination free lapping oil for reuse.

It has one abrasive mixture collecting tank in which the used abrasive mixture is poured. The abrasive is separated by baffling & settling process.

The clear oil is recepted thru the final chamber from which oil can be taken out for reuse. Viewing windows are provided on the system to varify the level of abrasive settled & necessity of cleaning.

Applications : For reclaiming of lapping oil.
