We have an appropriately equipped chemical analysis laboratory in the factory with skilled personnel. The laboratory has complete facilities as well as special expertise to analyze all the mechanical and chemical properties of weld metal. We have an equipped mechanical test laboratory to conduct tensile, bend & charpy impact test. The laboratory is equipped with an emission spectrometer imported from Germany forimmediate and precise testing. We also have a low temperature bath to test charpy impact specimens at sub-zero temperatures. The requisite test temperature once set is maintained in this facility. We also have a combined Brinell/Rockwell hardness tester to test the deposit hardness. We are also equipped with the diffusible hydrogen testing apparatus for low hydrogen type welding consumables. With this combination we can simulate large types of work situations to evaluate the suitability of our products for various requirements and applications of our customers. This facility is also used to evaluate the performance and developments of new consumables as per customer requirements. A furnace for subjecting the specimens to various temperature cycles.
