Ultra Planetary Gearbox
Dynatech’s special reduction gearbox employs helical gears to reduce drive motor speed to required speed. They can be broadly classified into two categories.
| Ultra Planetary Gearbox | Horizontal Multi Train Gearbox |
| Gearbox input and output shafts are vertical | Gearbox input and output shafts are horizontal |
| Drive motor - Either foot mounted, flanged type or directly coupled | Drive Motor - Convenient to use foot mounted drive motor |
Advantages
- Dynatech’s Special Reduction Gearboxes employ helical gears that have a transmission efficiency of 98% as the power transmission is by line or multi point contact.
- Further helical gear by its very nature can take reverse shock.
- The gears are heavy duty, heavy torque and made of special steels which have a longer shelf life.
- Specialized design that facilitates saving of power up to 80% under ideal conditions.
- Single or multi stage gear trains are available, with which wide range of output speeds can be obtained.
- Specific required ratios can be easily designed.
- Initial power requirement is low.
- Compact body of carbon steel takes care of impeller loads as well as shock loads.
