A storage tank is a generalized term for containers usually used for storage of liquids. In the hydrocarbon industry, tanks for a particular fluid are chosen according to the flash-point of that substance. Fixed-Roof tanks are meant for liquids with very high flash points whereas Floating-Roof tanks are used for liquids with low flash-points.

Fabtech has started construction of tankages with an LSTK project at IOCL Paradip refinery with total 22 nos. tanks. For this project, Fabtech has constructed 2 nos.of 78.2 meters diameter tanks with Dome-Roof structure. It is one of the highest diameter tanks constructed in India so far. Blending & mixing system is part of the job.
