⇒ Auto Transformer provides voltage to the motor at start.
⇒ Appropriate lower voltage tapping –customized as per the application – is provided to the motor.
⇒ After the motor has attained significant torque changeover from Auto Transformer to On Line takes place.
⇒ Interlocking between stator and rotor as per ISS: 8544 (part III).
⇒ Offers improvements in reliability as compared to L.R.S..
⇒ Low maintence; incorporates switching through contactors.
⇒ Smooth acceleration of the slip-ring induction motor.
⇒ Provision of tripping automatically the Starter in case of overload, due to which it gives relief from the worry of burning the motor.
⇒ If there is phase short circuit or earthing in starter outgoing, then MCB of starter will trip automatically due to which fault doesn’t multiply.
⇒ Due to presence of rubber gasket starter is completely protected from dust, mud, water.
⇒ Provision of Starting Starter automatically when all the 3 phases are available, due to which maximum voltage is always available & will give freedom from starting & stopping again-n-again.
⇒ Due to presence of rubber gasket is completely protected from dust, mud & water.
⇒ Incoming & outgoing (3phase, Multi lock type) terminals are provided separately.

We have applied Closed Circuit Technology in all our stator-rotor controllers for the safe and smooth operation of Slip-Ring Induction Motors. Our controllers are built as per IEC/NEMA standards meeting the provisions of the National Electric Safety Code. Stator Rotor Controllers / Rotor Controllers are extensively being used to replace existing manually operated wound rotor starters and liquid rotor starters. The resistances are basically designed to provide high initial starting torque with low inrush current from mains in applications like high inertia / high frictional loads and during run-up are bypassed through contactors by timers to short out final rotor contactor until full speed is attained. The rotor controller provides smooth acceleration to full speed and thus reduces electrical and mechanical stresses in the motor and drive. The resistances incorporated in our rotor controllers are designed in such a manner that they provide a very long term service with zero maintenance. All our rotor controllers are designed to start wide range of motors with strict QA system.
