∗ DESCRIPTION - Colistin is an Poultry Antibiotics from the group of polymyxins with a bactericidal action against Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella. Since colistin is absorbed for a very small part after oral administration only gastrointestinal indications are relevant.

∗ COMPOSITION - Each gram. contains
• Colistin Sulphate (Equivalent to Colistin Base) - 100 mg
• Excepients- Q.S.

∗ INDICATIONS -
+ For treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by colistin sensitive bacteria, like E.coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella and to prevent bacterial diarrhoea.

∗ DOSAGE -
• Orally via drinking water or feed.
• Poultry : 1.5-3 g per 10 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days
• Calves : 1.5-3 g per 100 kg bodyweight, twice daily, for 5-10 days.
• OR As recommended by the Veterinarian.
• Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately.
• Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.

∗ DESCRIPTION - Levofloxacin Poultry Antibiotics, a chiral fluorinated carboxyquinolone, is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial agent. It is clinically effective against wide range of gram positive & gram negative organisms & Mycoplasma spp. The mechanism of action of Levofloxacin involves inhibition of bacterial topoisomerase IV and DNA gyrase (both are type II topoisomerases), enzymes required for DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination in bacteria.

∗ COMPOSITION - Each gram contains
• Levofloxacin Hemihydrate. (Equivalent to Levofloxacin) - 100 mg
• Excepients - Q.S.

∗ INDICATIONS - Clinically effective against wide range of gram positive & gram negative organisms & Mycoplasma spp. Very effective against severe systemic infections like CRD, Colisepticaemia, Salmonellosis, Infectious Coryza, Fowl Cholera, Necrotic Enteritis, Gangrenous Dermatitis and non specific bacterial infections etc.

∗ DOSAGE : For oral administration
• For Prevention - 20-40 mg TREAT-L Powder (2-4 mg Levofloxacin) per kg body weight in drinking water.
• (2-4 g TREAT-L Powder per 10 Ltrs. of drinking water) for 3-5 days.
• For Treatment
• 40-80 mg TREAT-L Powder (4-8 mg Levofloxacin) per kg body weight in drinking water.
• (4-8 g TREAT-L Powder per 10 Ltrs. of drinking water) for 3-5 days.

• Tylosin Tartrate
• Water Soluble Powder

∗ DESCRIPTION - Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against (mainly Gram-positive) bacteria like Campylobacter, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Treponema spp.

∗ COMPOSITION - Each 10g contains
• Tylosin Activity (As Tylosin Tartrate Feed Grade) - 8 g*

∗ INDICATIONS -
• An aid in the prevention & control of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae in poultry birds.

∗ DOSAGE -
1 g TYLASOL in 1 ltr. of drinking water offered continuously for 3 days.
OR
25 - 65 g TYLASOL/ tonne of feed.
OR
As directed by Veterinarian

∗ PRESENTATION - 100 g.

∗ DESCRIPTION -
Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp.

∗ COMPOSITION - Each 10g contains
• Enrofloxacin - 100 mg
• Excipients - Q.S.

10 mg per Kg body weight daily for 3-5 days depending upon the severity of infection or as directed by the Veterinary Medical Practitioner.

Gentamicin Sulphate Injection 4% w/v

∗ DESCRIPTION - Gentamycin belongs to the group of aminoglycosides and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Klebsiella, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. The bactericidal action is based on inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.

∗ COMPOSITION - Each ml contains:
• Gentamicin Sulphate I.P. eq. to Gentamicin base - 40 mg
• Methylparaben I.P. - 0.18% w/v
• Propylparaben I.P. (as preservative) - 0.02% w/v
• Water for injection I.P. - Q.S

∗ INDICATIONS -
For prevention of early chick mortality due to E.coli, Salmonella spp. and Pseudomonas spp., fowl typhoid, C.R.D., infectious coryza and paratyphoid infections.

For reduction and elimination of microorganisms like Mycoplasma and Salmonella from hatching eggs by dipping them in Gentamicin medicated water before incubation.

∗ DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION -
• Poultry : 3-5 mg / kg b.wt.
• Day-old-chicks : 0.2-0.4 mg / chick
• Add 5 ml Gentamicin to 495 ml water for injection and inject at the rate of 0.5 ml / chick.
• OR as directed by Veterinarian. .
