• The current transformers type ADO-13 are based on a ‘U’/Hair pin design, suitable for operations ranging from 132kV to 400kV at 50/60Hz. The CTs are type tested including Chopped and Multi chopped impulse tests in accordance with latest IEC: 61869-1 & 2, Year 2012. The CTs complying with ANSI/IEEE standards or other standards can also be provided on request.
• The Lustre’s state-of-the-art, Navi Mumbai facility is ISO 9001 certified for quality systems.

Salient Features

Luster’s current transformer has the following superior design features:

• The Lustre’s 800kV extra high voltage laboratory has discharge free ambient level, suitable to carry out PD test and C – Tan delta test up to 400 kV current transformers.
• Well verified design & construction by rich experienced technical team.
• Light & compact design.
• No oil change/filtration required as top chambers are filled with Nitrogen (N2) gas/Metallic bellows (on request) as cushion providing hermetic sealing.
• Positive oil pressure for ambient temperature variation as nitrogen gas is filled at 1.4kg/sq.cm or metal bellows are provided.
• Partial discharge free CTs (less than 3pc) up to rated system voltage (eg.420 kV in case of 400 kV CT) as the vacuum and impregnation are done with precision and high quality oven parameters.
• High reliability of dielectric strength obtained as the electrostatic gradient on the primary insulation is completely uniform by capacitive grading layers.
• CTs with 0.2 S class metering with VA burden of 15 at very low Primary current of 25 A can be supplied on request.
