The company was established in the year 1951 by (Late) Shri B.L. Patharkar and the actual electrical contracting activities started in the year 1954. For last 60 years, the company is in the field of providing specialized electrical services, starting from the level of 22 KV up to 400 kV.

From 1988 till 1992 the company carried out about 500 Nos Distribution Transformers.

In the year 1993 , Shri G.D Date inspired the company to enter the field of CT / PT. For this M/s. Automatic Electric Ltd authorized the company to carry out repairing of their EHV CTs up to 220 kV. Subsequently this knowledge and experience was used for repairing of 400 KV CTs and till 1998 the company repaired about 1100 CTs ranging from 66 KV to 400 KV.

The company takes privilege to state that it has carried out repairing of Baltu, Siemens, BBC, TELK, BHEL, ABB, Crompton Greaves, AEP make CTs. having Metallic Bellow, Rubber Bellow, Marble filled CTs, Silica filled CTs, Aluminum tank CTs, Live Tank and Dead Tank CTs.

In the year 1996, the company acquired 4 Nos 6 KL per our capacity ultra high vacuum transformer oil filtration machines with an intension of revamping and repairing Power Transformer at site. The company started repairing the Power Transformer at site which included Shunt Coil replacement, main HV winding replacement, OLTC retrofitting. The company has successfully carried revamping and repairing of about 500 Nos. of Power Transformer ranging from 10 MVA 110 KV to 404 MVA 420 KV.

In the year 2002, company expanded its activity in the field of Live-Line Maintenance. The company procured the tools for Insulators washing, detection of Punctured Insulators and Replacement of Insulators all in Live condition upto 400 KV AC / 500 KV DC. The company has trained about 150 personnel for carrying out these crucial activities.

• 3200 Nos Hot Line washing of +500 kV HVDC Towers.
• 6000 Nos. Hot Line washing of 400 kV Towers.
• 3500 Nos. Hot Line washing for 220 kV Towers.
• 2000 Nos. of 400 kV strings replaced.
• 3200 Nos. of 100 kV and 220 kV strings replaced.
• 100 Nos Attending 400 kV, 220 kV, 100 kV Hot Spot in Sub-Stations.

While carrying out above activities the company has ensured “ Zero Accident ” concept by giving proper training’s to impart the importance of safety in the minds of working staff.

In the year 2009, company decided to enter into the field of manufacturing of EHV CTs up to 400 KV. The company has 2 plants each of 30,000 sq.ft in Rabale Navi Mumbai which have been used for these activities.

Design, engineering, testing and quality control carried out by highly experienced engineers has resulted in achieving the required highest process parameter and Final test result when tested as per latest IEC.
