About Laxmi Group
Laxmi Group of Industries was established in the year 1979 at Laxmi Metal Pressing Works Chikalthana M.I.D.C., Aurangabad. At this unit Stainless Steel and Aluminum utensils were manufactured by "Laxmi" brand. Soon "Laxmi" brand become renowned in Maharashtra as well as some south Indian cities.
Laxmi Group's entery into Bajaj Auto Ltd. started by developing an American Tray/Dish for their canteen. Soon, Laxmi Group started manufacturing components for 2 WH and 3 WH vehicles. This was the start of along association between Bajaj Auto Ltd. and Laxmi Group.

In the year 1997, first 2 WH muffler of Bajaj Auto Ltd. was outsourced to Laxmi Group. Press operations of Laxmi Group also started to gain momentum during this phase.
In 1997, Laxmi Group expanded in Waluj by starting Laxmi Rikshaw Body Pvt. Ltd. and in 2003 Laxmi Metal Pressing Works Pvt. Ltd. Unit II. Along with increasing business in Automobile sector, Laxmi Group also invested Green Energy by installing 3 windmills in Satara and starting "Tanishq" a Tata Branded jewelry showroom which was managed by Mrs. Lalita Subhash Nahar.
In the year 2012, Nahars Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. was innaguarated by hands of Shri Pradeepji Shrivastava on 31st Oct. This plant was state of the art plant commissioned within a record time of 9 months. The parts coming out of our PTCED line were of excellent quality right from first round. Robotic line for manufacturing of 3 WH body and 3 WH windshield frame was also installed along with the PTCED line at NEIPL. In the year 2014, Laxmi Group plans to start manufacturing Laminated and Toughened glasses for Automotive and Commercial purposes. Today, Laxmi Group has a turnover of over Rs. 2.4 Billion and estimated to reach Rs. 4 Billion by the Year 2014-2015.
