Uses
- Because of its good thermal stability calcium stearate is used as a Heat Stabilizer in PVC resins and other thermoplastics like polypropylene;
- It's used as a lubricant in Rubber molding, as a release agent for rubber mixtures.
- In plastics and wire drawing and making tablets;
- To coat minerals and oil exploration work;
- Used in paints and varnishes; used as a fatting agent in paints.
