Solvent Type
MAK RUSTOL 271
It is a solvent based low viscosity, de-watering rust preventive fluid with ability to displace water from metallic surfaces spreading rapidly to form a rust preventing film at the same time. The solvent evaporates on application of the product to the metal surface, leaving the rust preventive on the place.
Performance Level:
Proprietary Grade
Application:
The product is required for protection of metal parts and assemblies dunng the manufacture process and when stored indoors. The product is particularly suitable for the applications where protected components are regularly handled but quick removal of the film is not required.

MAK RUSTOL 275
It is solvent based, water displacing film forming temporary rust preventive fluid this grade is extremely effective in even displacing the absorbed moisture on the metal surface there by leaving a thin protection film.
Performance Level:
Proprietary Grade
Application:
This grade is used to inter process treatments as welt as tor application on high precision parts when final packaging has be carried out. This product cannot be applied in applications where small orificed cavities are present, as this grade works on the solvent evaporation basis. This grade is specially developed as protective for all types of bearings. The product is spray or cold dip applied.
The film can be easily removed by wiping off with rags soaked in kerosene / mineral turpentine or by alkaline degreasing / or solvent degreasing methods.

MAK TCPF
These are the blends of rust preventive material in a solvent for ease of application . These fluids are non-staining easily applicable by brush, spray or swab. These are water displacing and hence they obviate the need for Specially the parts which are to be protected. TCPF 54 provides soft and thin film over the metal surface. TCPF 60 develops tacky film over the metal surface. TCPF 62 provides touch dry film over the metal surface.
Performance Level:
TCPF 54 -18 1154:2000 [Reaffirmed Dec., 2011]
